Locker Rooms

Head to our fifth floor to visit Mercury Sports Shop and our spacious locker rooms and spa facilities. On your way, you’ll pass a 17-foot statue of the Roman god Mercury. His winged sandals, an ancient symbol of athleticism and an age-old symbol of LAAC, give you good luck (or so the legend goes). Both the men’s and women’s locker rooms offer rich heritage and modern comfort, where modern design elements complement the décor’s many vintage touches.

Women’s Locker Rooms

Relax in a soundproof quiet room featuring wide reclining lounge chairs, heated blankets, and a dedicated light lamp for private reading. Enjoy a revitalizing sauna, therapeutic steam room, roiling whirlpool, and refreshing Cold Plunge. Get ready before and after your workout with stylish private lockers, plenty of seating and amenities for doing hair and makeup, and private spacious showers.

Men’s Locker Rooms

Sleek private wooden lockers, that also include an NBA locker room area and a comfy chaise lounge area with fascinating memorabilia. Relive muscle tension by stepping into our two Dry Saunas set at two temperatures, our relaxing hot tub, and refreshing Cold Plunges, or sit back and relax in our steam room.  Enjoy the spacious shower and vanity areas that include amenities for you to relax and unwind.

Space to Lounge

Before you get to your actual locker, be sure to stop at our luxurious lounge area, where you can watch TV, play games, or chat with friends and fellow LAAC members.

Locker Room Etiquette and Policies

We aim to create a safe, welcoming environment where all LAAC members can relax and enjoy our amenities. To help support a friendly community, we ask that you please adhere to the following etiquette and policies.

  • Be courteous to everyone
  • Don’t be inappropriate
  • Use a locker to secure all belongings; LAAC cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items
  • Daily lockers are cleaned nightly
  • Lost items are only held 7 days
  • No phone calls or electronic devices in the locker room
  • No shaving in the sauna, steam room, or spa area
  • Shower before using Jacuzzi, Cold Plunge, or Pool
  • Dry off entirely before moving around public areas
  • Remain properly covered while in public areas
  • Wear shower sandals or flip-flops in the locker room
  • Place used towels in the designated bins
  • LAAC prohibits any threatening, profane, lewd, or inappropriate language. Please report any such behaviors to a staff member as soon as possible.
