The Los Angeles Athletic Club has had a long history in Water Polo, dating back to 1913, and includes Olympic medals in the 1932 and 1984 Los Angeles Games. As the Summer Olympics commence in Rio and in honor of Water Polo, the first Olympic team sport, the Club will launch its Water Polo Boot Camp.  The tailored six-week boot camp program encourages participants to jump in feet first and gives a glimpse into what it takes for a Pro Water Polo athlete to make it.  Athletes on every level can train like an Olympian with this program created by LAAC’s very own Water Polo Team coach and three-time Olympian, Terry Schroeder. The program includes functional swim exercises, strength training, and cardiovascular workouts all of which come together for participants to reach their ideal fitness goal. The Water Polo Boot Camp is inspired by the Club’s newly formed water polo team which trains out of the historic athletic club.
