The Club offers many aquatic activities throughout the year. Our 25-yard lap pool is kept at 82-83 degrees Fahrenheit. We also have a smaller children’s pool, which is kept at 85-86 degrees Fahrenheit on weekends.
Our aquatic facility is designed for leisure swimming, competitive swim training, and therapy conditioning.
All pool staff are certified under the American Red Cross and our water aerobics instructors are certified under the Aquatic Exercise Association.

Scuba diving is truly a wonderful, exhilarating activity. The LAAC Scuba Club plans diving excursions as well as training and educational programs. An Entry Scuba Experience can be scheduled almost any time and certification lessons are available monthly.
The Entry Scuba Experience is an easy way to find out if scuba diving is for you, prior to enrolling in a certification course.
The cost of the complete Scuba Diver Course is $495.00 per person for a class of four and includes:
Personalized scheduling, instruction in the pool (four to six hours), and two days of ocean diving at the beach* (4-6 scuba dives), a DVD for home study, certification materials, and a meeting at a dive shop for the fitting and rental or purchase of personal equipment and scuba gear.
*Personal equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, boots and other small items) and/or rental equipment is not included in the price of the class. (discount is available for rentals and purchases at certain scuba shops) Members pay for their own transportation, boat trips, and accommodations related to the course.
Both private and semi-private instruction is available, fee to be arranged with instructor.
*Boat excursions and trips to Catalina may be arranged for cost only.
