The Swim Conditioning Club gives adult members the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities ranging from lap swimming to the thrill of competition.
Who Can Join? Suitable for all swimmers, beginner to advanced. No speed or experience is required. Learn stroke refinement and be a more efficient swimmer.
Anyone who is 19 years of age or older and who knows how to swim can join.

One of the greatest benefits of joining our Swim Conditioning Club is to be able to practice with an organized group with highly structured swim set workouts and on-deck coaching.
Workouts are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Swim Coach Bio:
Caleb Veazey, born in Dallas, TX, into a family of aquatics enthusiasts has been involved in the sport his whole life. His father, was a collegiate swimmer and longtime coach, his two younger brothers are Division 1 athletes in swimming and water polo. As an athlete, Caleb competed in two Olympic trials, was individual and team Speedo Junior National Champion, 15-time Texas State Champion and 10-time Texas age group record holder. Caleb has over 15 years of coaching experience at all ages and skill levels.
Water-Aerobics Classes – included in your membership.
Water conditioning classes are an ideal form of exercise, no matter what age or ability you are! LAAC offers two variety of water aerobics classes that incorporate deep water high intensity training to improve your cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility and Aqua Zumba which includes low-impact training in the small pool with resistance tools such as water-weights and noodles. Great classes to meet new friends and have fun at the same time.
Deep H2O Workout – A flotation belt is recommended for maximum benefit.
Our summer program follows the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim guidelines that include water safety skills. Our goal is to teach children to be safe in the water and learn to become efficient swimmers. The group classes are offered during the months of June, July and August.
LAAC Aquatic facilities are designed with the latest modern Cafe Plunge that allows you to enjoy a drink or meal while relaxing by the pool. Our facilities are designed for leisure swimming, competitive swim training, and therapy conditioning, The Club offers many aquatic programs throughout the year. Our 25-yard lap pool is kept at 82-83 degrees Fahrenheit. We also have a smaller children’s pool, which is kept at 85-86 degrees Fahrenheit on weekends.
Dive into our our Aqualillies Synchronized Swimming class, a continuing celebration of Esther Williams who earned the title ” Los Angeles Athletic Club Mermaid” in February of 1939 after she won numerous titles representing the the LAAC swim team.
All pool staff are certified under the American Red Cross and our water aerobics instructors are certified under the Aquatic Exercise Association.
